MEET BENJAMIN NEWBERN


I’m Benjamin Newbern, a proud Florence native whose family has called Northwest Alabama home for generations. Growing up in the Shoals gave me a lasting appreciation for our neighborhoods, the Tennessee River, and the sense of community that has always defined this region. Those connections have guided my path, even as my career took me beyond Florence.

After graduating from Auburn University, I built a diverse professional background through roles in both government and nonprofit organizations. My work in Montgomery and later in Washington, D.C. gave me opportunities to sharpen skills in communication, negotiation, and service. These experiences taught me the value of listening closely, building trust, and navigating complex challenges—lessons that continue to shape how I work with clients today.

When I returned to Florence, I was drawn back not only by family and community, but also by the chance to invest my time and energy where my roots run deepest. Real estate came later, as a natural extension of my desire to serve others and contribute meaningfully to the place I’ve always called home.
