MEET BENJAMIN NEWBERN

Hello!

Local roots. Clear guidance.
Steady real estate help.

I’m Benjamin Newbern, a Florence native, Auburn graduate, and Realtor® with CRC Realty. I help buyers, sellers, families, and estate representatives make clear, informed real estate decisions across Florence, the Shoals, and Northwest Alabama.I was born and raised in Florence, and my family has called Northwest Alabama home for generations. That local background shapes how I work. I know how much place matters here — the neighborhood, the street, the family history, the commute, the school patterns, the river, and the familiar names that make the Shoals feel like home.

Before real estate, I worked in public service, government, and nonprofit advocacy. After graduating from Auburn University with a degree in political science, I worked in Montgomery at the Alabama Administrative Office of Courts and the Alabama Governor’s Office. I later moved to Washington, D.C., where I worked for the ACLU and the Interfaith Alliance.

That experience taught me how to listen carefully, communicate clearly, handle sensitive issues, and guide people through complicated situations. Real estate often requires those same skills. Buying or selling a home can involve money, timing, family, stress, transition, and major decisions. My goal is to bring a calm, practical approach to the process.

I returned to Florence in 2006 and became an Alabama Realtor in 2025. Today, I’m proud to work with CRC Realty, serving clients across Florence, the Shoals, and Northwest Alabama.

Whether you’re buying your first home, selling a longtime property, helping a parent downsize, or navigating an estate sale, I’ll help you understand your options and move forward with steady guidance.
