I’m Benjamin Newbern, a Realtor® with CRC Realty in Florence, Alabama.I was born and raised in Florence, and the Shoals has always been home. I help buyers, sellers and families make clear real estate decisions across Florence, Muscle Shoals, Tuscumbia, Sheffield and the surrounding area.My work is built around practical guidance, local knowledge and steady communication. Real estate can feel overwhelming, especially when the decision involves a family home, an estate property, a downsizing move or a major life transition. My goal is to help you understand your options, avoid unnecessary pressure and move forward with a plan that makes sense.

Before becoming a Realtor®, I built a career in public service, government and nonprofit advocacy.After graduating from Auburn University with a degree in political science, I worked in Montgomery with the Alabama Administrative Office of Courts and the Alabama Governor’s Office. I later lived in Washington, D.C., where I worked for the ACLU and the Interfaith Alliance.That background shaped the way I work with people today: listen carefully, explain clearly, stay organized and take complicated situations seriously.When I returned to Florence, I brought that experience back home. Now, as a Realtor®, I use it to help clients make thoughtful decisions about buying, selling and navigating property transitions in the Shoals.
